NAACP Nashville Supports Community Health Fair
Healthy communities lead to healthy citizens and healthy citizens that dictate history. NAACP Nashville's Health and Membership committees participated in Nashville General Hospital's Community Health Fair. The community health fair gave community members an opportunity to participate in free health screenings and receive various health related resources. The NAACP Nashville Branch Health Committee chair Jacquelyn Favors facilitated "Become a CPR Expert in 20 minutes" CPR training which effectively prepares people to properly perform CPR. The membership committee chair David E. Conner communicated the benefits of membership in the NAACP the oldest grassroots civil rights organization in effort to recruit memberships.
